New undergraduate and postgraduate students join the group

Funding awarded!

Great news today, as a funding proposal with the Royal Society of Chemistry for a project entitled “Microporous polymers for luminescent solar concentrators” has been awarded! This will allow us to upgrade fluorescence analysis equipment to characterise our luminescent composites.

Summer project kick-off

Today we welcome Ezra Glasstone who will be working on a project entitled “Reprogrammable light-activated circuits” in collaboration with the group of Prof. Sabine Hauert in Eng. Math. This project is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Faculty of Engineering via the pump-priming programme.

Stella returns and starts her PhD studies

Stella Wang, who carried out her MSci project in the group in 2020, returns and starts her PhD studies in this new year. Her return is all virtual for now as she will remain in China for a few more weeks, but she will move to Bristol shortly to continue her work on opto-electronic properties
